View fullsize  We did take a "chocolate and coffee tour" while we were in La Fortuna. The company we toured was Don Juan. It was a little expensive ($180 for the five of us). However, it was very well done and we throughly enjoyed it. They gave use a complete over

View fullsize  One of the really nice things about the tropics.
View fullsize  I considered Costa Rican cooking very similar to Italian cooking in that it is peasant food that uses fresh ingredients, simply cooked. Also, don't compare it to Mexican food. Costa Rican food is not spicy at all.
